Wild Mountain is an incredible place. It has history and character that can’t be replicated. Skiers and riders have rubbed shoulders here since the 1960’s, with each one of them leaving their mark and building on our community of winter enthusiasts.

Our base lodge’s vintage art and snow sports artifacts remind us of good times of the past. And despite being a short drive from the Twin Cities, our location is as wild as ever. Black bears roam the trails, deer forage the forest floor and owls hoot through the night - just like they did nearly 60 years ago. Wild Mountain is pure Minnesota and truly one-of-a-kind. Yet, we can make this place even better.

Over the coming months, you’ll hear about the improvements we plan to make to Wild Mountain. We’ll be making changes across the property while being mindful of our planet and the specialness of this destination. We’ve got a term for that. We say, “Keep It Wild”.

As we prepare for a winter season in the midst of health, social and economic challenges, we’ll be communicating with you on what to expect. And, we promise we won’t lose sight of the future.
