Mountain Info

Quechee Lakes is a 5,500-acre private resort community located in the Ottauquechee River Valley, 5 miles east of Woodstock, VT and 10 miles west of Hanover, NH, home of Dartmouth College. As New England’s premier four-season recreational community, it is owned by approximately 1,400 resident members and operates as Quechee Lakes Landowners Association and its wholly owned subsidiary, The Quechee Club.

Association members, guests and renters enjoy amenities including a large, modern clubhouse with fine and casual dining facilities, 11 tennis courts, two paddle tennis courts, indoor and outdoor pools, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a 50 acre lake for swimming and canoeing, trails for hiking, biking and cross country skiing, a downhill ski area, polo fields, and two championship golf courses.

The courses, regularly ranked among the best in Vermont and New England, were designed in 1970 by renowned golf course architect Geoffrey Cornish and have been refined in recent years under the guidance of distinguished designer Brian Silva. The Highland and Lakeland courses have hosted the New England Open on numerous occasions, the Collegiate Challenge, and charity events including the annual CHaD Classic for the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth.

We are proud to offer a highly acclaimed recreational community with an exceptional lifestyle and lasting value where there is something for everyone. Once you experience all that the Club has to offer, you will be sure to come back for more.
